- I have received two small grants from University of Tehran
between 2001 and 2003, for two projects “Filtering Documents by Plausible
Inferences” and “Intelligent Tutoring System”.

RESEARCH:My research interests are in:
- Information
Retrieval (Question Answering, Cross Language IR, Filtering)
- Persian
Information Retrieval
- Reasoning
in Artificial Intelligence specially by Human Plausible Reasoning (HPR)
My approach in IR is generally based on Natural Language
Processing and Artificial Intelligence and specially based on HPR. HPR has been used in experiments with XML
retrieval, clustering, text IR and in all cases it has resulted in higher
precision but lower recall system.
When it was applied to Expert Finding, it was resulted in
high recall but low precision system.(see reference below)
